And I'm still not over Laneway, sigh.
It's more of a post-concert depression "sighhhhh let me die there's no reason to live" thing rather than a "OMG!11! I'M STILL SO HAPPY THAT I GOT TO SEE THE DRUMS LIVE"
But yeh, haha.
Anyways, this morning, I woke up early to buy tickets to see L'Arc~en~Ciel live in Singapore!
Been a fan of them for like, 5-6 years, so I'm really excited. Didn't expect them to even come here!! OMG
Well it's 2 months of waiting for my brothers and I. I really should get into them again though haha, memorise the lyrics again and shit.
Also, did I mention that A7X are playing on that same day? URHGHGFP;SLFHJ oh well :'(
And Morrissey's coming in like, May? What the fuck, MORRISSEY. I wish I could go!!! But I don't have any moneyyyyyyyyyyyy no I don't have any moneyyyyyyy.
Haha Laruku tickets are sponsored by my bro. Gotta pay him back when I have the money. Let me die here on this floor.
Yep, I think that's my post for the day lol.
I'm still listening to The Drums, according to Last FM it's reaching 900 plays WITHIN A WEEK lol wat.
And other bands are like less than 90 plays hahaha dang!
The Drums make me smile, sigh.

Laneway Festival 2012 [pt. 2] - Hi again, Connor and Myles!
Where did we stop....?
Oh, right, meeting the bands at the airport!
Okay, so afterwards, I went to McDonald's to eat with mah new friends, yo.
We all had stupid grins that NOBODY could ever wipe off from our faces, hahaha.
Then, we parted! It was SO GREAT.
I headed home, and throughout the whole bus ride, I was just staring at my autographed drawings, and updating my Facebook status, hahaha. :')
When I reached home, I uploaded some photos, and my Facebook had a shitload of notifications, haha. AMAZING! That's never happened to me before! LOL /forever alone
Then I packed my stuff, changed my clothes, and went out, as quick as lightning!
I then met up with Dini. :') First time seeing each other! She lives in Indonesia and she came all the way to Singapore just to watch The Drums (and some other bands too). DEDICATION!
We then went up the hill to Fort Canning Park. Without riding the shuttle bus! LOL awesome!
I almost died when we reached the top, hahaha. Called Fizah too on the way, and she was laughing so hard when I was talking to her while panting like crazy. Ohhhhhh and I told her about alllll the things that happened at the airport. asldasdl;haf;
When we reached the venue, we queued up for a bit, and then WE WERE INSIDE! WOAHHHHH.
Saw a Drums shirt at the merchandise booth, but it was like $45 or something. I was broke so I didn't get anything. :( Oh well, I GOT TO HANG OUT WITH THE DRUMS! That's better than a merchandise! And it was free! ;)
So, first band to play were Cults!
They're really awesome. I only listened to them like, once, though.
Gotta listen to them moreeeeeeeeeeeeeee--
Then, the next band were Yuck!
I've listened to their music a little, and I've watched one of their music videos called "Rubber". LOL it was.. Interesting.
I think their last song was "Rubber"! I forgot.
And then it was CHAIRLIFT!!!!
This was one of the bands that I was dying to see for Laneway.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to watch them up front because I was saving the spot I had for The Drums! I WAS AT THE BARRIER. SO. YEAH. OH MY GOD.
Caroline's voice = perfection. When she sang during "Amanaemonesia", I DIED.
They played "Evident Utensil" toooo. :')
And of course, "Bruises"!
Next up were Austra!
THEY WERE LEGENDARY! I loved their performance!
The stage presence was amazing.
Well I actually only know one song by them, which is "Lose It".
Still, all their songs were beyond great.
GIRLS! Their performance was really cute. They had like, flowers and all.
And they played one song by Whitney Houston as a tribute. :>
It felt like a LONG time when I was watching them play, cos I was really anticipating The Drums' performance, haha.
And then...
So after Girls finished their last song, Dini and I started going CRAZY.
And then one by one, the boys came out...
Jonny came out last, cos he's cool like that. LIKE A BOSS.
Expect a shitload of photos.
Best. Moment. Of. My. Life.
Okay, no, the best moment was when I got to meet them. ;)
They played the usual songs! The first song they played was "What You Were".
OH MY GOD WHAT YOU WERE.
They played "Let's Go Surfing" too! When that song started I swear I DIED.
My favourite moment was when they played "If He Likes It Let Him Do It". LEGENDARY SONG.
I could've cried right there and then, hahaha.
"Down By The Water" was just AMAZING. The crowd was splendid. We all sang along, and Dini and I did the motions that the boys did in the music video, hahaha. :')
Their last song was supposed to be "How It Ended", but they decided to play "The Future" cos they hadn't played it in forever. LUCKY US!
Even though I really REALLY love "How It Ended". I think it's one of my most-played Drums songs.
Then, when their performance ended, Jonny passed some copies of set lists to the security guys, and they started throwing 'em around.
DINI CAUGHT ONE. And I accidentally tore the right side of that set list, haha oops.
I gave it back to her, of course. :)
Then, we decided to stop watching bands, and start stalking The Drums LOL.
Well, it was mostly Dini.
I was just like, "Yeah I don't mind following you, even if it means seeing them for the 2nd time on the same day," haha.
We walked outside, and got to the back of this private area for the bands.
Still outside, of course. The area was covered, but there were openings so we could see through them!
Dini had a peep and said she saw Jonny. But she was too late, cos he had already walked into a tent. :c
BUT THEN.
She went to another side, and took another peep, and right there, hanging out together, were Connor and Myles!
She continued staring at them, and then froze and backed away.
I asked her what's wrong, and she said, "Oh.. I think Connor spotted me,"
And I laughed so hard!
Then I asked her if she wanted to call 'em over.
In the end, we did!
While they were walking over, I said, "Hi again, guys!"
And they thought I said "again" because of me seeing them perform, and not because I met them in the morning. XD
Then Connor and Myles stuck their heads out of the opening instead of going out, haha.
Connor was like, "So do we just stick our heads out like this for a photo or..? I LAUGHED SO HARD YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
Two heads sticking out, so adorable ahahaha.
There was this security guy guarding them and when Dini and I were about to go in, he was like, "No, you guys (Connor and Myles) can go out,"
And I was like, "Oh okay," and Connor said to him, "Oh really? Thanks so much," hahaha :')
A few seconds later, Connor stared at me and went, "Wait, aren't you the one who did those drawings?!" I was like, "YEAH!"
And then he said, "Thanks so much again for the drawings," and he hugged me. :')
He was still sweaty from the performance earlier, and he stunk. HAHAHAH <3
Sweaty hugs are the best when it comes to Connor Hanwick.
That will be my favourite slogan from now on.
Okay, I just added that slogan to my Tumblr. Because, well, YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE.
Then I think he asked me how I was, I can't remember. EVERYTHING WAS SO BLURRY.
And I said, "I'm doing SO GREAT even though I'm kinda losing my voice after your performance." :')
So I was like, "Oh yeah, so you guys were sposed to play "How It Ended" as the last song,"
And Connor was like, "Yeah," asdljhasdlj
Then I said to Myles, "Hey Myles, I just remembered that I didn't get your autograph earlier today. Can I get one?" and I made the dorkiest grin ever.
And he was like, "Oh, yeah! Sorry about that."
He then scribbled his signature in my book. HE SCRIBBLED LMFAO.
You lazy bum. :')
Then, he passed that book to Connor. I stared at the book, then Connor and I stared at each other.
"You already have my autograph. One is enough, right? Yeah, one is enough,"
I was like, "Yeah, you're right.." and I smiled but deep inside I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD :')
When we were staring at each other it was so awkward. We were both like, "Err.." HAHAHAHA
And the highlight of the day, was when I was standing right in front of them like, "Uh okay I can't think-- I'm having a massive brainfart right now.."
And they both looked at each other and laughed lol.
So, Dini got her set list signed by Connor and Myles, and I got Myles' autograph. AWESOME!
Then Dini also got a photo with them.
And the security guy, out of nowhere, passed me his phone.
And I was like, "Wait.. What?" and finally realised that he wanted a photo taken of him with the two boys! SO CUTE.
After that, we had to part. NOOOO.
But it was SO WORTH IT! We were so lucky! asdl;khadslja
I wanted to get Danny's autograph too, but I couldn't find him anywhere!
I remember asking Connor and Myles where Jonny and the others were, and they didn't know for some reason. Hahaha.
After that BEAUTIFUL moment, Dini and I went to get something to eat.
Well, not really. Just to drink.
I bought two bottles of Green Tea, and drank like a monster. I was so thirsty! But not hungry, for some reason.
Bought some Mentos too, because, you know, I love candy.
Then we went back to the venue and I think Twin Shadow were playing. I forgot!
The whole time we were there, Dini went around the venue and tried to search for Jonny.
Unfortunately we ended up not seeing The Drums anymoreeeee.
Okay, kinda. Well, we saw Jonny and Connor, but didn't get to meet any of them.
When we saw Connor again, he was on stage, playing with The Pains of Being Pure at Heart! AKA the band his girlfriend, Peggy Wang is in. CUTE RIGHT? UGH.
We saw Jonny backstage, watching them play.
Dini really wanted to go to him, but it was difficult. :\
We ended up not meeting them anymore, but oh well!
IT WAS AMAZING.
And I wouldn't wanna run into Connor and/or Myles for the 3rd time, that would be awkward. STALKER I AM. LOL.
The next band I was looking forward to were The Horrors! OF COURSE.
They were playing at 11.10pm, or something.
I managed to get in the second row. SWEET!
When they started playing, IT WAS EPIC.
Their first song was "Endless Blue". I thought it would be "Mirror's Image", haha.
The craziest the crowd has been would have to be during "Sea Within A Sea".
BEST SONG EVER. Even more amazing when it's live!!
Here, have some (blurry) photos, cos it's nighttime and my camera isn't so good when it's dark.
Also, have I mentioned the INSANE crowd? Yes.
Wow Rhys YOU'RE SO BLURRY
But yeh no nice photos. :(
I didn't take many videos too, and most of them were halfway through only!
Cos I wanted to really get into their music and I swear my neck HURT SO MUCH during their performance cos I was headbanging like an idiot!
Okay, so I guess that was our night...
Last performance was by M83.
I didn't take any photos, but I did take some videos of the screen!
Their songs are BRILLIANT. SO. FUCKING. BEAUTIFUL.
Of course my favourite was "Midnight City", haha (love "Kim & Jessie" and "We Own the Sky" too).
When they started playing that song, Dini grabbed my arm and asked me to stand up and dance LOL. I almost left my phone and marker while I was in a hurry!
Also, Anthony was sooo nice! When the performance ended, he thanked everyone like, 24629759721401491479 times. :')
Then it was all over and we went home. Aw.
I couldn't stop singing songs by The Drums, haha.
BRILLIANT DAY.
I'M CRYING
Inside.
But still.
Oh my god.
Best concert experience ever? Indeed.
Also look at what Dini drew for me! :')
I hope The Drums will come back again for their own gig.
I'm so going, and I'm gonna try meeting them again, haha.
See if they recognise me heheeeeeee.
That's it for now. This post is long as hell.

Well, who else, right?
Mr. Jacob Graham of The Drums. ;)
They were starting to set up The Drums' stuff, and while they did, the next band came out to play, and it was...
GIRLS! Their performance was really cute. They had like, flowers and all.
And they played one song by Whitney Houston as a tribute. :>

And then...
Look who I saw backstage. :')
Connor and what seems to be Myles hugging! D'awwwww.
Oh, yes, it's Myles. Hahaha.
And then... This backdrop.
I didn't think I would get to see this very backdrop.
LET ME DIE.So after Girls finished their last song, Dini and I started going CRAZY.
