Ah, these bands. 365 days in a year, and I only got my lazy arse to listen to four new bands.

Well, I already made a post about The Cribs here. And here too, actually. Gosh, I'm such a fangirl.

We Are Scientists? This, basically.

Super Furry Animals! How did I get into them again? Ah yes, I suddenly fell in love with Franz Ferdinand again, and my favourite band member changed from Alex Kapranos to Nick McCarthy. I don't know how that happened, but it just did. Nicholas is that attractive. Okay, anyway, so I found out that Nick did some German vocals for this one band's track. I decided to listen to it, and well, I died when it reached the German vocals part. But the rest of the song was really catchy too. It's so happy and aaahhhhhh I just fell in love. That song is "Inaugural Trams" by Super Furry Animals, of course. It was my first song from them, ever. Well, I decided to check them out because I seriously needed new music. Then I fell in love with them instantly!

Ah, The Drums. I've actually known them for quite a while but never bothered to check them out. A few days ago, I was browsing through Last FM's "events" page, and I saw that there was a festival that's gonna be happening in February. Well, The Drums are gonna play on that day, so I thought I'd listen to their music and see if they're good enough. I was right. They're amazing. My first song was "Let's Go Surfing". Then my second was "Best Friend". I got hooked, and I started listening to both their albums. It was a bad idea, because I knew I wouldn't be able to afford a ticket for the festival. Well, right now, I'm trying really hard to save up for it, so I could (hopefully) go with my brother! I'm dying to see The Drums live. They're amazing. Also, who'd wanna miss out on Jonny's awesome weird dance? ;) Well apparently they played at the St. James Power Station earlier in 2011 or something. WOW. I definitely don't wanna miss them this time. Even The Horrors will be playing in that same festival! I don't listen to them, but they're really great. Also, Faris Badwan is ADORABLE.
