Happy 2012!

Eh, it's 2012. I don't feel the difference.

Well, is it time for a new year's resolution yet?
For some reason, I didn't have one for 2011.
Basically, 2011 was a slack-year for me. I barely did anything.
Let's see if I can point out any awesomeness that happened in this year...

• Iron Maiden live in Singapore (of course)
• Kaiser Chiefs' "The Future Is Medieval" album came out on my birthday
• Didn't get any presents on my birthday but Nick Hodgson replied to my tweet, said my drawing is nice and called me a dude,
• and Ricky Wilson retweeted my tweet
• Met Sylvia, one of the most amazing Tumblr people ever
• Learned some Italian, also thanks to Sylvia
• Got to see We Are Scientists live, and for free too
• Found out about great bands like We Are Scientists, The Cribs, Super Furry Animals and The Drums
• Accepted my naturally curly hair and finally decided not to straighten it
• Felt so inspired and more appreciative of life thanks to StumbleUpon
• Jepha's livechat when he answered three of my questions
• Got back into Arctic Monkeys and I started appreciating Jamie Cook more
• Suddenly fell in love with Indie Rock again
• Improved in my drumming
• Travelled out of the country

Well actually there's more, but it would be a never-ending list of epicness.
I am thankful for.... This amazing year. It wasn't really bad. I had a great time.
Even though being 17 sucks, because it's like being in the middle of nowhere, I learned a lot in 2011.
Bring on 2012, I can't wait to turn 18!

My new year resolution...
I really don't know.
Well I just hope I'll get into a great school.
I also want to get into more bands this year!
And the first step to that, is to attend the Laneway Festival that's gonna happen on 12th February 2012.
The Drums and The Horrors are playing, and there are other bands but I'm not familiar with them.
I'm really looking forward to this festival and I really hope I'll get to go. I started listening to The Drums like 3-4 days ago AND I LOVE THEM.
I really wanna see Jonny, Jacob and Connor on stage, OH GOSH. I'm not sure who they'll be playing with since Adam left. Ehmmm I'm a very new fan hahaha.
