A day out with Nats.

Hello there, Mahir! Haha this was the first time I got to see him in person. Ehm, is "person" the right word to use? Well, I've known Nats for a pretty long time, actually. Knowing her more than a year is considered long, right? Great thing was, when we met face to face, we definitely clicked! LOL she's awesome. (obviously)

The night before, I couldn't sleep because I was really afraid that I wouldn't be able to wake up. I'm weird, I know. So I stayed up for the whole night, got ready around 11am, and went out at 12pm. Then I noticed that I forgot to bring my SD card along. D'OH! Camera's fully charged but there wasn't a card in it. Haha, you dumbass, Puteri. I ended up skipping back home to grab any card that appeared before my eyes, and went out of my house and ran to the bus stop, lol.

I arrived at Harbourfront MRT station around 1.05pm. Not bad, actually! 5 minutes late, haha. Apparently, Nats had already arrived a few minutes before me.
When we met, I was just slfjhklgljt HELLO!! LOL oh man, the excitement! It was her first time bringing a doll out too, so that was interesting. XD

We went to take some photos at the rooftop.. Place.. Thing at VivoCity, and the only pretty photo that I could come up with was the one above. I suck. Haha.
Realising that it would start to rain soon, we went inside, and decided to go for lunch!
Apparently, Nats decided to treat me to Secret Recipe.

I have no words, she's amazing. .___.
I couldn't thank her enough, it was so sudden!
I felt bad so I decided that I'd pay for my drink, which cost $5.90, hahaha. I'm broke.

I had the strawberry milkshake, and Nats had the vanilla one! They're delicious. *___*

Mashed potato! It only cost us $1.90, and it's yummy.

Cosmic fries! They had happy faces on them. SO. FREAKING. CUTE.

This was my meal. I forgot what it was called, but eh, something along the lines of, "Caribbean catch of the day". It tasted absolutely scrumptious, but.. Look at those green stuff, when I finished eating and I was all bloated and stuff, they made me want to puke everything out. Hahaha. Okay, TMI, really.

This was Nats' meal! I forgot what it is. Ehm, some pasta? I don't know. Well.
After our awesome lunch at Secret Recipe, Nats wanted to head down to the arcade, so I tagged along (of course). I think she topped up like $20 to her card or something, and by the end of the day, it only had like $2 left! Hahaha.

We played some zombie shooting game (always a must when you're at the arcade), then rode some weird simulator ride thing that reminded me a lot of Wipeout (ah yes, memories), and also made me want to puke.....

And of course, Guitar Hero.

Well the song choices weren't so great, but at least I got to play Paranoid, Almost Easy, Rock n Roll All Nite, and eh some others that I forgot.
Then we walked to the Sentosa Boardwalk after that, and took some photos at night.
Haha, low lighting oh my god. This was my first time taking photos in such dark conditions. Ehm.

Mahir looks good with Willian's wig. :B

After that, we went home. The MRT tunnel was pretty interesting.

There was a huge traffic jam on my way home ugh (I rode the bus after getting down at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station) I HATE IT.
Felt like dying while I stood there and tolerating the idiot driver's way of driving. Not to mention, I hadn't slept since the day before, so, you know, I was really pissed but I tried to keep calm haha.

I had a great time with Nats though. She's fucking amazing. c:

Last night was awesome.

Ehm, well, I haven't gone out in so long. Blame my lack of a job and school, haha. I'm bored!
So my dad asked me along to see his friend's band play at a local pub. Lol weird thing is, I'm underage and we don't drink. Y'know, religious rules and stuff. But we were just there to watch the live band and appreciate the music. *___*
Well, when I reached the venue, I did get a little uneasy cos that was my first time going to a pub (I HATE IT), the lights hurt my eyes, and the music was way too loud. Well, I wouldn't mind if it was Rock music.
So apparently my dad's friend, Bob, was eating at some coffee shop while waiting to play. So, we went over there! Well, me, being the anti-social weirdo I am, of course I was nervous. Hahahaha.
The whole band were really nice guys though! I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. :B We had dinner with them too, I ate some Indian rojak (which cost $7 wat) and after that, we went back to the pub cos it was their time to play.

Well, when they started playing, I basically went "KGHSLJDFGFJKAFLSKGHK".
Because they're fucking amazing omg. I can totally see that they've got a lot of experience. D'oh.
Also, the vocalist totally looked like James LaBrie. I COULDN'T HANDLE THAT, I WAS SO AMUSED BY THAT FACT. I think it's his hair. Oh, and his shirt too, it was very loose LOLOLOL.
They played a lot of great songs, like Metallica, Deep Purple, Guns 'n' Roses, Radiohead, and some others that were also equally epic.
Haha when they played "Enter Sandman", the whole place went crazy. Well, what do you expect from Metallica?
Then they played "Smoke on the Water", and their last song was "Black Night". Amaaaaazing.

Lol between the sets, they had little breaks. My dad hung out with his friend Bob, and he kept bragging about me being able to play the drums too, and I'm just, "...What. Don't even COMPARE me to this talented man." LOL. I got to talk to the bassist and the vocalist too. *___* They asked me if I wanted to jam with them sometime soon hahahaha. Whaaaaaaat. My confidence level is so low, I think I'd hide behind that huge drum set... /shot
Hahaha it was an awesome feeling getting to talk to the vocalist. I don't even know.
When my dad introduced me to him, it was amusing.
"What's your name?"
"Puteri."
"Sorry?"
"Puteri."
"Puteri? Alhamdulillah (praise be to God)."
HAHAHAHAHAHA I don't know why I found that so funny.
And another funny thing was when I told them what songs I could play. Well, they only play Metal and Hard Rock mainly, so I really have a small list of songs I could play, since I usually play stuff like Arctic Monkeys and Muse lol.

"Well, I can play Iron Maiden, and maybe some Judas Priest..."
"SERIOUS PE?!"

LOL I was like, "...I know, it's weird for a person like me to listen to bands like these."
Hahaha I wonder what music they thought I played.

Oh yeah, and after they finished a set, Bob asked me to try playing the drums and I was just, "Ehm .____." because lol, I DON'T WANNA PLAY IN FRONT OF PEOPLE OH MY GOD. ON MY OWN. ;A;
Well, I took a long time just sitting down there and staring at the drum set lol, then I started playing the intro to "The View From The Afternoon", yep, Arctic Monkeys. And when I was done, the whole pub looked at me, and I just... Kinda... Uhm... Hid behind the drum set. Oh my god that was scary LOL.
When I got off the stage, someone gave me an applause. It was amusing. XD And awkward!
My confidence level is so low you can't even see it haha. I'm different in real life than I am on the Internet... And I'm different when I'm with people I'm close with, and with people that I'm not. Hahaha. It sucks balls. (now this is why I have little friends... Yeh.)

Okay, I'm done rambling crap.
I wish I brought my camera along then I'd get to take photos of them. :c
Mmmmmmaybe next time!

Now it's time for me to play my drums aw yeh.

Hi again! Some updates..

Um... It's been quite a while, yes?
But hey, I didn't say I'd be here more often. Anyways..

1. Ricky's gonna have his own body! Just so you know, Ricky's my Elfdoll K. Well, modded K. Yes. Interesting. Recently I found out about the worst news ever, the fact that Elfdoll are discontinuing their Rainy boy line. What the actual fuck?! I panicked and so I really had to get a boy body, at least one, before they sold out altogether. Well, I was too late.
I already had the money, but I couldn't find anyone quick enough to sell me PayPal funds. Oh so so so sad. Went on the Elfdoll site, saw "Sold Out" under the item, and I wept silently in the corner of the room.
Well, I found an alternative. Getting the body on the second-hand market on Den of Angels, of course. I didn't find any homme skin boy bodies, but I did see the older, shorter boy body in homme skin, and I had to get it.
The seller was the wonderful and extremely kind Kiyakotari. She let me get the body on layaway. I've paid the initial 30% deposit, and I'm gonna pay the remaining amount by the end of January. Aw yeh!
But then the helpful and caring Hobbywhelmed sent me a private message, telling me that the homme skin boy body on Elfdoll's site was available again! Of course I was extremely frustrated, but oh well! Maybe next time. Well, who knows?
Maybe Rainmain's gonna come up with a new body for boys, along with some new sculpts too. That would be a dream come true for me. I'm a huge fan of Elfdoll.
Besides, I have another floating head at home, Aden. The Elfdoll... Uhm.. Aden. LOL I decided to keep his sculpt name cos I thought it suited him. But yeah, if, sometime in the future, I get my hands on the newer, taller boy body, I can give the shorter one to Aden. Yep, I've got it all covered. ;)
Overall, I'm having mixed feelings but oh well. It's good enough that Ricky's gonna get his own body. I can't wait. *___*

2. Hey, Lamb of God are playing in Singapore again. And they're supporting Judas Priest! Unfortunately I'm broke. I don't have money. At all. Not to mention I gotta finish paying off Ricky's body.
Oh whatever shall I do...? I don't know, really. Missing LoG for the second time won't be awesome. I don't really listen to Judas Priest, but seeing them live would be epic, especially since it's their farewell tour sldjfldjslfjl
I AM SO BROKE.

3. I need a job. Anybody wanna recommend me some jobs? No? /okay.jpg

4. Arctic Monkeys are playing in Australia on the 30th of December. They might stop by Singapore like they did in '09 after playing in Perth. WHO KNOWS?! Ying Ying and I are prolly gonna camp at the airport for like a week or something lololol. We're also planning on making Suck It And See vests, because those things are rad.
If they're gonna play in Singapore in early 2012, I'd have to go for the concert and not LoG/Judas Priest. Woops. Well I'm more of a British/Indie Rock fan now. Oh yeah, LAMC did mention that there's another British band to be announced for 2012. I AM SO NERVOUS. There's quite a gap between Australia and Spain's dates so... Is it Spain? I forgot. But yeh.

5. I recently got into Super Furry Animals. These guys are fucking amazing, and extremely EXTREMELY underrated. There aren't many videos of them playing live, I wonder why. Not many interviews too. I think I've seen only two. Wat.
Anyways, how did I get into this band...? Well they've got a song, "Inaugural Trams", and Nick McCarthy (Franz Ferdinand) did some German vocals in that song. Basically I'm a crazy fan of Nick McCarthy, so I had to listen to the song, and I really loved it. Then I started listening more to them, and I started loving them. Also, Gruff Rhys is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
Go listen to the Super Furry Animals if you haven't already!

I really don't know what else to type out.
Actually I don't even know why people read this blog, it's just some personal online diary LOL.
