Yesterday, dad called me and said there was a package from USA.
I totally went OMFG, CALABRESE STUFF?!
And I rushed to AMK.
When I got to meet dad, he passed me the package.
Immediately I saw a Spookshow Records sticker and a vampire bat stamp!
DEHNEHHHH. Calabrese stuff fo sho!
And what's so interesting is that there was an exclamation mark after my dad's name on the package. HAHAHA.
So it was like "Muljadi Ramlee!" and then the address.
OMFG DAMN CUTE RIGHT.
I had a feeling it was Bobby who wrote dad's name and address. (If not, then prolly Jimmy.)
He really likes exclamation marks. Even the Spookshow Records sticker had an exclamation mark on it. "Spookshow Records!"
D'AWWW. Even before opening the package I already died of cuteness several times.
And now we proceed onto the customs declaration sticker..
Wow, it's like I'm giving you a tour of a typical Calabrese package.
Anyways.
So the package had to be signed by a sender.
Guess whose signature was there! Totally Davey plz!
HAHA. Super cool shit! Oh and by the way, I didn't get my They Call Us Death CD along with the order.
I think they changed some plans or something.
Cos on the customs declaration sticker, the name of the item was written there, and..
I saw the word "CD" but it was cancelled off and changed to a "Shirt". (Damn! Killed my joy! Hahaha.)
No idea why, I thought the other stuff I ordered were sposed to be shipped along with the CD on February! And yep, I ordered a shirt too. WOOT.
I'm just hoping the guys will ship my They Call Us Death CD in February.
I'm still kinda confused why they shipped my other stuff first, since this was on their site: "NOTE: Any other item (or items) placed with a pre-order will be shipped in February WITH the pre-order!"
Oh and they added that little note there as soon as I asked them a question about the other stuff. Ha!
But anyways!
I opened up the package and frantically searched for the CD. Like, seriously.
I didn't find it, and I was confused for a moment. Haha!
But then I found a Paypal receipt, and it stated the CD there in the receipt, so I guess there's no need to worry?
Oh and about the Paypal receipt! This. Is. Awesome. Stuff.
Well you might prolly be thinking, "Ohhh it's just a frigging piece of paper."
Apparently not! There was a HUGE "Thanks!" on like half of the paper with Bobby's signature below it! I was like, holy shit. Is this shit for real?!
And apparently it was. Written with a marker, and not photocopied.
Holy. Shit.
..I think I should laminate that Paypal receipt. This is cool shit, dude!
After OMG-ing on the receipt for more than 3 minutes, I dug out some small cards which appeared to be stickers!
OMG YAY FREEBIES I LOVE YOU CALABROTHERS.
Yeahhh they gave me two free stickers!
Hey, they're worth 2USD! That's like, 4SGD! I was actually planning on buying some stickers, but I knew I wouldn't be using 'em.
I take care of things I really love a lot.
Even if they're stickers, I won't use them as stickers.
I'll just.. Slot them in my file. They're too precious to stick onto stuff!
Cos I know it'll be hard to peel them off the surface once they're stuck there.
Unless I have a guitar case (nah, I don't play the guitar.), or some random item that I have with me all the time.
Next topic: Calabrese Halloween '09 poster!
Because I spent more than 20USD in one order, I got a chance to own a Calabrese poster! YAY.
Best thing is that it's a signed poster! YEAH BABY.
So now I have like.. 2 of Bobby's, 2 of Davey's, and.. 1 of Jimmy's signatures.
Well at least I got all their autographs. Sweeeet.
Hm, the weird thing was, during Halloween '09, I hadn't even known who these guys were!
So I can't make myself think that I was actually at Calabrese's show in America, as quoted from the guys..
"Years later, when you find this poster buried deep in a dusty box in your garage, you'll trick yourself into thinking you were actually AT the 2009 Calabrese Halloween show. History shall be rewritten!"
Anyways, yeah.
I also need to laminate this poster! Or maybe I should just frame it.
So what else was inside?
Oh yes! The tiny, super adorable 1" Calabrese button.
It's just a simple button, with the Calabrese logo imprinted on it, that I ordered too! Hee.
I wanted to get a Bobby button, but when I think about it again.. I'd rather get all three buttons of the Calabrothers!/is trying not to be biased
I think.. There's one more item.
..Well d'oh! The t-shirt! I ordered a Calabrothers t-shirt too.
That is one awesome shirt.
I'll have to remind myself not to choose M for my size though. It's too big! Damn!
..Well actually it's quite okay, just that the sleeves are a little long.
But I'd rather have S.
I guess I'll take S for the next shirt I'm gonna buy.
..Either a shirt or a hoodie.
I'm definitely not gonna stop buying from them! Ha!
Their service = awesome.
I love it when a band adds some personal touch to stuff.
I think Calabrese is the only band that does awesome stuff like this.
At least among the bands I know.
